Truth be told, ever since the announcement of lil Baby Carter's upcoming arrival in October, it seems like life has taken us by the storm and kept us busy, busy, busy. At 27 weeks pregnant, so much has happened since April...we celebrated my 33rd birthday, traveled to Spain, Greece, Israel, and Chicago. Brian has achieved 100% strength in his injured shoulder and has made a spectacular comeback on the football field; the countdown to the Shamrock Bowl begins...1 semi-final game on the 25th July and since we're predicting a Rebels WIN, the Shamrock Bowl is on Saturday, August 7th.
This is a very BRIEF summary of the last 3 months; it's a start and I will make every effort to post highlights of all the major events with pictures in the next upcoming week(s).
As for the pregnancy, we are in constant awe of my ever-changing body, the miracle of life inside, and for what's to come. Words cannot accurately explain the feelings that we feel on a daily basis of our lil one growing and the thoughts we have of bringing our lil Carter into this world. We are so thankful for the love, support, and joy that our family and friends have for our baby and for our next chapter as parents...though we live on the other side of the pond, we are grateful that love knows no boundaries and know that Baby Carter will experience nothing but an abundance of love from our community of support.
