April so far has brought us loads of sunshine and more visitors!
Jen arrived on the 3rd April and is staying until the 30th April; we've had a lot of fun the past 2 weekends exploring Dublin, enjoying good cafes, eating delicious breads and cheeses, and ventured out to Bray, Howth, and Malahide. We even ran a 10k in Phoenix Park...not sure how I managed to talk her into running it just 2 days after her arrival. She's an adventurous soul! The race benefitted Our Lady's Hospice and the Marie Keating Foundation. As of today, she's off exploring Ireland solo for the next 10 days and then will venture off to Malaga, Spain for some sunshine and warmth.
Brian had some surprise guests in town...Lane and Mike surprised him with a visit on the 10th April and are here until the 24th. I was in on the surprise and helped conspire a story that we all thought would get Brian good...mission accomplished! Good friends equals a lot of great stories shared over dinner and dessert...the stories about Brian were plentiful! :)
We are so fortunate to have amazing friends in our lives and their visits here are such gifts to us...
