Dublin Rebels is the name of the Irish American football team Brian plays for; no bragging aside, they're one of the best in the league. There are 8 teams in the league, games are on Sundays, there'll be play-offs, and the ultimate Shamrock Bowl in August.
The Rebels first game was on the 29th March against the Knights; final score 41-6, Rebels. Brian had several catches, ran for 40 plus yards, an interception, and some tackles. Brian seems to be playing a variety of positions...wide receiver, linebacker, running back...he's enjoying the playing time, the game, and hopes to help the team make it to the Shamrock Bowl.
The second game was in Limerick, final score 12-6, Rebels; the next game will be Sunday, 19th April in Cork. I'll do my best to post team updates.
